Power of Two turns 10!

10 bits, that is!  We just committed our 1024th revision to our subversion repository and we're sharing it with you.

Why?  Because we love you, Gentle Reader.

Exactly who is this "SweetPea"?  What are the true motives of the elusive Cap'n Donut?  Why is the hero falling?  Why do we leave commit comments in the style of 13-year-old AOL kids?

Wouldn't you like to know!

Congrats :)

Congratulations :) Truly, OMGLOLWTFBBQ............. *sounds tasty, btw

P.S.: It seems that your app thinks that 9+6!=16, how rude of it to challenge my arithmetics, please correct it as soon as possible!

Im from Argentina, and Im

Im from Argentina, and Im trying... -no-, I am a Game Developer.
Its something really, really dificult. But then I read about people like you, and I remember. I remember what I want and come back to the line.

Boys you are pure inspiration

Congrats boys.

HeroStateFalling.cpp, eh?

Very film noir. or postmodern...

How far off can HeroStateRedeemed.cpp be?

How about

How about HeroStateRecoup.cpp? :)

And why does he perform a silly walk?

These are either genius code names, or you are completely crazy :) How do you name your variables BTW?

i vote for crazy. the good

i vote for crazy. the good kind of course.

No!

I wouldn't like to know those... ;D
I would like to know how do you mix c# with c++ in developing a game?

:: someone trying to become gamedeveloper ::

All of our runtime engine

All of our runtime engine and game code is in C++, and our GUI tools are in C# 2.0 with WinForms.  Woe betide the poor soul who still uses MFC, WTL, ATL, Win32 these days :)

Thaks, a lot ...

Thanks. That's pretty.

This was an idea I'd had months ago, but the problem - for me - was that I'd wanted to read/write files through two different languages. And I'd wanted to use tools. (eg. boost's Archive, and another tool that I'd written)

So I would like to know, please:
- Have you a way for reading/writing in the same format in two languages? Or you're forced to write things twice, for each language?

of course, on unix...

... your ci comment will think you want to execute previous commands ;)

of course

But they are quite lucky: they are running the ubiquitous cmd.com interpreter, which is vastly superior at ignoring this kind of complex unexpected behavior.

Any new posts anytime soon?

Any new posts anytime soon? hehe, just wondering how you're doing.

Wooooh! What's new?

Will we have to wait for a new post until power of two turns 20 ??
Then it would be a long long time before a new post!

;p

Woot

Nicely done indeed! Congratulations.
